She's walking!

This has to be my most favorite milestone yet! It is such a joy to see how excited she is as she starts to take her first steps and then how she dives into your arms once she knows she's made it to you! Before I know it, she will be taking off and running everywhere, but now that she is taking her first steps and walking from mommy to daddy, it is soo much fun! She has been doing this for a while now but just this past weekend, she is becoming such a pro at it!
I also bought Rylee this super cute hat and matching outfit and of course had to share these most adorable pictures! It's almost like she is posing for me! Her baby blues just melt my heart!! Her first birthday is right around the corner and I am totally stressing out to try and get things planned! I know it will be here and I will have nothing done!! It's going to be soo fun watching her tear into her cake!! She is just like her momma and loves ice cream too!! Oh and what fun it will be to not have to buy formula anymore!
Rylee loves her baby Einstein videos and has become very fascinated with animals. She loves my brother's dog, Rocky. She gets soo excited when she see's him. She is also talking alot, mostly gabbing, but she says words similar to moma, dada, duck, etc. She also signs for 'milk' and 'all done' very well. It's soo nice to be able to understand what she wants by using sign language.
Rylee is growing sooo tall and staying around 21 pounds. I think she has finally caught up to her age for her weight, well at least she can fit into 12 month clothes, for now at least. Rylee also loves music, always has, It's amazing to watch her settle down and watch American Idol with us, because when I was pregnant with her, she would be the most active then and I always knew she loved that show, now she sits with us and watches it just mesmerized by the music!
Mother's Day is coming up and it is my official 'first' Mother's Day! I am soo excited to spend the day with my baby girl and my hubby!

Those are Rylee's first words! Boy is she getting sooo smart! We are getting settled into our new place and Rylee loves having her very own play area. We got her a walk and ride that she loves to push and walk behind all by herself. I am sure in no time that she will be walking on her own. She is pulling herself up onto everything and walking amongst furniture and transferring from furniture to furniture, Mitch and I call it a "FT" (furniture transfer). It's quite comical... "Wow Rylee, that was a big FT, good job!" hehe :) We just love our baby girl to pieces! She has learned what the remote control for the ceiling fan does and she will aim the remote towards the fan and push the buttons and watch the light turn on and off. She has also learned that when we walk in the house into the garage when we get home that we push a button on the wall and the garage door closes, now when we pass the button, she likes to push it herself and then she turns around and watches the garage door close, can I just tell you how stinking cute this is???? I could just eat her up to pieces!!!! She is starting to eat food from out plates now, and eating stage 3 foods, we've introduced meant into her diet and she isn't such a huge fan of it right now, but with baby food, I can't blame her, it smells awful!!! I am going to start planning her first birthday soon, thinking we'll do a lady bug theme!!! we shall see!!!
I promise I'll add some pictures soon, I've been soo busy with my photography and with clients, that it has been hard to post and blog on here sometimes!!!

Rylee's standing!!!!!!

No pictures yet, but my baby girl can stand with no help!!!!!! So crazy for just turning 8 months old, but she has got this balancing thing down quite well! If she realizes that no one is holding on to her and that she is standing all by herself, she tends to get scared and wants the ground for security, but if you distract her with holding onto a toy, she will totally stand! Had her up to a minute standing last night and I swear it was the cutest thing ever!! I don't know why I didn't grab my camera!! I guess I was just enjoying the moment 'being there'. We just rented a house in Clermont after renting out our house in Tampa, so we are sooooooo extremely busy unpacking and moving. Rylee loves her new room and new house but I can tell she is going to miss her Grandpa playing her the Bee Gee's in the morning! We are soo glad to not be staying with family any longer and to have a place of our very own! Rylee has converted to sleeping in her crib soo well, which is soo great considering the first 8 months of her life she has slept with us! I think Mitch and I are having a harder time with her sleeping in her own room, we sort of miss having her there! LOL :) But all in all, it's a great thing!
I promise to work on adding V-day pictures, new house, pics, and other current things! Life passes by soo quickly and blogging is soo hard to do sometimes!
Now that I am thinking about it too, Rylee also can drink from a straw!!!!! She kept watching Mitch and I do it, and so she grabbed for our drink and she literally sucked up the liquid and drank from the straw! I swear she is sooooo smart and picks things up sooo quickly!! It's really cute to see the amazement on her face when she takes a sip and realizes that "Hey, water comes out of this thing when I suck on it", LOL

I have been soo busy, but have lots to share soon!! Valentine's pictures and all! Rylee is starting to eat finger foods, still has 6 teeth and teething, scooting everywhere, pulling herself up, standing and transitioning between furniture, she'll walk with help, learning how to balance when she stands. I predict she could be walking by 10 months or so! She loves being mobile and wants to get into everything, it makes it sooo hard right now to keep after her! We rented our house out, so we are now looking for a place in Clermont to rent, so not much longer, and Rylee will finally know what it is like to live in her own house with her own playroom and bedroom! :) Just a temporary fix to this 2 year long wait of selling our house. And did I mention that AI is back and she loves it just as much as she did when she was in my belly! :)

Guess who's crawling!!

Yep, haven't seen it yet, but Sara called just after she did it and I have been smiling all day long! We can't wait for her to do it for us and get it on video! Can't forget the pictures too!!! Oh gosh, this means she is going to be sooo mobile and into everything!!! My baby is growing up! Here are a few of the latest pictures of her to share!

I guess since I am blogging, I should take the time to tell you about our first New Years with Rylee! We went to a 'family-style' party at our friends Kelly and Jim's home. Rylee stayed up until about 11pm when she finally hit the sack, but she must have had a sick sense because she woke up two minutes before New Years to count down with us! We gave her a great big kiss and she passed out again for the night! We enjoyed fireworks too that night in which Rylee was sooo fascinated with! She just loved it and would get so excited as they went off!

Here are a few favs from a photoshoot party I had with Kristi! I am loving this whole photography thing!!!!! The santa suit was William's when he was just a baby, I'm actually super surprised that it even fit Rylee. The black and red dress she is wearing was suppose to be next year's Cmas dress. Rylee got that at my baby shower... one for this year and one for the next... but funny enough, it's not going to fit next year, at least I don't think it will... and it was a tad big now, but I wanted to get pictures of it because it is sooo cute!!! These are probably my favorite pictures I have taken of Rylee to date... I feel I am getting better with each session...

Rylee's first Christmas...

Lots of pictures to share with you! Rylee truly enjoyed her first Christmas! and so did we! We celebrated Cmas Eve with Grandma and Grandpa Reedyk. We had all the family over, ate dinner, sang songs, and read the bible story of baby jesus before we opened gifts. Rylee sat on the floor as we sang Christmas songs and she was just soo happy. She always perks up around music. She did great opening up her own gifts but she tried to eat every single piece of paper and bow. She got a book from her Great Aunt Becky that teaches about shapes and she wouldn't put it down, she loved 'eating' it! :) She got soo many cute things, clothes, toys, pj's, and a savings bond from Grandma and Grandpa. She will really enjoy that as she gets older!
Rylee was very tired by the end of the night and so we didn't make it to church for the candlelight service. I was hoping to go but didn't have the energy to stay up any longer!
The next morning, Cmas morning, we went to Mimi's and G's for Cmas and for lunch/dinner. Mimi and G worked very hard to get their new kitchen done. They have been busy remodeling and it was sooo nice to have the open room and nice new kitchen! Rylee was spoiled with presents and one to open over and over again. She really got overwhelmed with it all but her favorite toy was from her Aunt JoJo which is a learning puppy who talks and sings. She really loves it! She also got a toy from Mimi and G that looks like drums and makes music, it can also convert to a rolling toy when she crawls and that seems to be another favorite toy of hers.... She also got a sweet musical bear from her Gma and Gpa Reedyk that she enjoys too! Momma's favorite was all the cool new clothes she got!!! Rylee was starting to out grow that mighty closet of clothes she had, so it's fun to have new stuff!! Rylee's grandparents sure did a great job with the clothes!!
Rylee got her momma a heart mom necklace. Daddy took her shopping and Rylee choose one of two necklaces that he had picked out. She immediately grabbed the one he bought and she still pulls on it now :) Everytime I hold her, she instantly she's my necklace! I've also noticed her grabbing at my wedding ring.... She's learning early that diamonds are a girl's best friend :) hehe
Rylee got her daddy a camcorder and some DVDs.... so we finally (after 6.5months) can start taping our baby girl! Gpa Reedyk has been taking care of that for us thus far. I will have to get him to give us a copy of everything!! He has been really good about pulling it out every so often and getting cute clips of Rylee's milestones!
We got Rylee a pair of personalized PJ's with a bum flap that has her name on it, Of course I did this for selfish reasons as I am going to do a photoshoot with them!! hehe, but they are soo cute!!!
