Latest Pictures I Love

Yesterday we pulled out the camera to get some pictures of Rylee in her dress that my Aunt Rosina from Holland had bought her and we ended up catching some priceless moments! Here are a few of my favorites!

Giggles Caught on Tape!

So after we got home yesterday from piercing Rylee's ears we did our nightly tradition of bath time. Rylee was in her tub which was placed inside of the normal bath tub and Daddy was sitting in the bath tub to bathe her. Daddy was quite uncomfortable the way he was sitting and he told Rylee "Daddy hurts" and she just giggled sooooo hard, it was sooo cute! So I of course ran and got our camera which has a video option and told Mitch to do it again so I could catch her giggle on video. It's sooo funny how silly parents can be to do anything they can to get a giggle out of their child. Earrings for Rylee

Yesterday, Mitch and I took Rylee to piercing pagoda in the West Oaks Mall to have her ears pierced. We had been looking into this for quite a while and we were on the fence about whether or not we should do it, but we couldn't resist and it's so cute! Mimi and "G" came to watch and take pictures/video. I have a few pictures now to post and will add more later and hopefully a small video clip. Rylee was such a big girl and hardly cried at all! She sat in Daddy's lap while he held her arms and head against his chest. Rylee was such a trooper and as soon as it was over and I picked her up, she had all ready forgotten about the whole thing and was happy again. She doesn't even realize they are there and that is how we wanted it. We hope by doing it so young that she won't pull on them and they will become a 'part of her'. We got her ear's pierced with her birthstone set in gold. Her birthstone is actually pink which is too cute! We also got her an extra pair of diamond earrings to wear later. Rylee received a certificate from Piercing Pagoda that we will save for her baby book! :)

This is too cute, I had to post it! Rylee played dress up with Sara, Caity, and Logan the other day and Sara took these pictures for us! She said Rylee really liked the construction goggles.... which I think is so funny, especially since her first giggle came from us talking about the power company and the power man!

See all the fun I miss during the day while I am at work :(

You guessed it... another birthday party! :)

Yesterday we had a lot of fun going to Natalee's 2nd birthday party. Rylee got to see all of her friends and also got to sunbathe in the baby pool. We got tons of pictures to share from the party!
Afterwards we came home to Valrico and Rylee actually "Giggled" for the first time!!! We had a really bad storm coming and we were talking to Rylee about maybe losing power and she was just a laughing! We tried soo hard to get her to do it again for the video camera but we were unsuccessful! It was the cutest moment we have ever experienced and we can't wait for her to do it again!!! It was so much fun and it made our night!!!!!!!!!

To bring you up to date

Ok, so It may take me a while to post new pictures, but I figure I might as well at least keep up the writing before too much time passes..... let's see how much I can remember since I currently have what they call "mom brain" and can't seem to remember anything lately!

I guess I last left off at the end of July and beginning of August. My friend Sheri came to visit us from North Carolina and she stayed with us for a few days. We took Rylee to the ice skating rink where Rylee and Daddy watched Sheri and I as we reminisced of our younger years and went ice skating. (I promise to add pictures when the time allows) She did so good there with Daddy and she enjoyed watching us skate. We also stayed at Uncle Mike and Aunt Joanne's house, whom by the way, we asked to be Rylee's Godparents :) and they happily accepted.

On August 9th, Rylee had her 2 month check up with Dr. Yarcking and she has grown almost 3 inches since she was born and 4 pounds!!! She now weighs 12pounds 12ounces and is 23 1/2 inches long. Our baby girl is really growing up fast!! She got her vaccinations and she was a big girl and only cried for a minute, however it did break momma's heart to see her in pain. She handled it very well!

Mommy returned to work on August 13th. It was a very sad first day. Mommy cried the whole way to work and missed her terribly but we are sooooo THANKFUL to have the best person caring for Rylee. She goes to stay with Mrs Sara during the day. Sara has a 3 yr old son named Logan and a 2 year old daughter named Caitlyn who are Rylee's new Best Friends!!! Rylee has so much fun staying with them. She gets to read stories, sings, dances, goes to the library, plays outside, plays peek-a-boo, tummy time, and gets a lot of love and kisses from everyone. Rylee even told Logan she loves him :) 'wink'. Logan and Caity love to help their momma watch Rylee and look forward to her arrival every morning. We know Sara and her husband from highschool. It's wonderful knowing that Rylee is in good hands! Sara keeps a daily log/journal for us and she tells us everything Rylee did for the day and we look forward to reading it every day when we get home, it really makes us feel like we were there the whole time!

We have been taking Rylee swimming a LOT lately!!! She loves it soo much and Grandma and Grandpa Reedyk's pool is the perfect temperature right now!!

Rylee is also soooo very close to giggling, we are anticipating that very much!! She smiles sooo much now and really responds to a friendly voice. She also follows objects with her eyes now and it is so fun to watch her do that. Morning times before work is mommy's favorite time, that is usually when Rylee is the happiest. She is ALL smiles in the morning and she talks a lot!!!! It makes it hard to leave to work when she is being so cute!

Rylee is also wearing 3 month clothes now and we have officially retired all of her newborn clothes :( it's so sad to see an outfit that was once so big on her little body not even fit her anymore!!! Why do they have to grow up so fast? It's a lot of fun though to go in her closet and get to pick through all the new clothes in the next size!!! Mommy is having fun dressing Rylee up in dresses and hats and headbands!
