How We Do Christmas!

Story to follow...................................

Some favorite Christmas memories of Rylee this year:
Rylee was very much into Christmas this year. Some of her favorite sayings were "Tree, On"; "Lights"; "Pretty"; "Ooooooh Pretty"; "Tanta" (santa)..
She loved the Christmas tree soo much and she really enjoyed looking at all the houses that were so nicely decorated with lights. She seemed to love Santa soo much, yet she would have a melt down if you had her sit on Santa's lap. We're hoping that maybe next year will be better, but then next year Haylee will probably be scared :)

Rylee got so many wonderful things for Christmas this year.
Lots of trucks, clothes, bike, 4 wheeler, big wheel, dress up clothes, baby dolls. Haylee got a lot of much needed winter type clothing, if you can even call it 'winter' here in Florida :)

Haylee, Grandma Reedyk, and I attended the 11pm candle light service which is a family tradition. Rylee was passed out and didn't make it out that late. We enjoyed a lovely meatloaf dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Reedyk and this year it was quite small, just the four of us and grandma and grandpa.... We are always use to have around 15 people over, it was different, but it was nice at the same time
We also enjoyed a lovely lasagna Christmas dinner at the Robertsons' with Mimi, Pop pop, Uncle Michael, Aunt Jo Jo and cousin Mason, and family friend Kevin. We later saw Uncle Glen, Nancy, and Justin .
Family is what makes Cmas, and we are soo truly blessed. It was so wonderful to be with family. One of these years, I would love to take the families out to see snow!!

Get ready for a photo overload :)

The Holiday Season

I have several more pictures to share with you, however I haven't had the time yet to go through them. We have enjoyed many festivities as of late. It helps to put you in the Christmas spirit and it is such a joy to see Rylee having so much fun. Last Friday, we went to Celebration for Snow Nights, basically, soap suds, but what a joy it was for Rylee. She was dances throughout the streets, lifting her hands to catch the snow, and looking up the entire time. Celebration is such a beautiful little place. They didn't have as many "soap suds" as least year, so it was a bit disappointing for me personally, but as far as Rylee knew, it was awesome!
Saturday we took the girls to Snow Day in Minneola. Not necessarily snow, but close enough, it was ice. They slabbed a ton of snow onto the side of a hill and had sled races. They also had a mound of snow for the children to play in. Rylee was so fascinated with the snow, picking it up in her hands and saying "cold". It was too fun to watch her play.
Last night, we took the girls to see ICE at Gaylord Palms. It is a huge ice exhibit kept at 9 degrees. Super cold! They give you parka's to wear. It was just beautiful. All of the colors were so amazing, and to top it off, it had ice slides at the very end. Unfortunately, Rylee's parka was riding up and wasn't long enough and her clothes were not allowing her to "slide" down the slide, so she didn't get to go down it, but still had a blast. She loved her hot cocoa at the end too. We went with Mimi and pop-pop and uncle "my-null" (michael) and aunt "jo-jo" (joanne) and cousin Mason. Haylee and Mason were too little to go and hung out with Aunt JoJo to see the rest of the hotel and all the pretty Cmas lights.

Here are some pictures from the events

The atrium in Gaylord Palms.... stunning, isn't it?

Back

Rylee has been potty training and doing very well! She goes "pee-pee" and "poo-poop" on the potty now! She still has accidents and we sometimes don't make it fast enough to the potty. She's no where near fully potty trained, but we are at the starting point of it and she is doing so great! I'm so proud of her!
Rylee is such a smart little girl too!! Picking up sentences and new words everyday.... The other night, we heard her counting her cars... "1, 2, 3.." I was soo amazed. I had no idea she could do that! She is totally into trucks now.... put the baby dolls aside, we have a tom boy now! Everything is a "truck" whether it is a car, boat, truck, etc... too cute! She associates momma's truck, daddy's truck, etc....
She loves being a big sister too, kisses on Hay Hay all the time, gives her a bottle sometimes with Miss Sara and is very loving and protective of her.
I am back to work now, and Haylee is staying with Miss Sara. She isn't liking the bottle too much and we're thinking she is missing momma alot, probably prefers nursing over the bottle, but when she gets super hungry, then she will take the bottle. I hope she will get use to it soon! Haylee is growing up soo fast! She absolutely LOVES the paintings over her changing table that Rylee painted for her before she was born. Everytime without fail, it will bring a smile to Hay Hay's face, a near giggle, and she is always entranced and locked onto the paintings when we are changing her... I can't believe how much she loves those paintings!!! It's soo sweet!
